Meet The Doctors

Dr. Elizabeth Cash, D.D.S.

Dr. Elizabeth Cash in a native of Newport News.  She graduated from Menchville High School and went on to attend the University of Virginia where she completed her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies.  After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Cash attended the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2005 and was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.  Dr. Cash then moved out of state to complete a residency in General Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.  Upon completion of the program, she headed home to Newport News to begin practicing and start a family.  Dr. Cash lives with her husband, Heath, and their three children.  She spends her free time playing with her children, reading, boating and skiing.  She has been practicing in the area for over 15 years and looks forward to many years in the rewarding field of dentistry.  Dr. Cash is an active member of the American Dental Society, The Virginia Dental Society and the Peninsula Dental Society.

Dr. Lisa Barnes, D.D.S

Dr. Lisa Barnes is a native of Newport News, Virginia and excited to join the team at Riverview Family Dentistry. She particularly enjoys working together with patients to reach their optimal oral health and a smile they love. Dr. Barnes aspires to make patients feel calm and comfortable throughout their dental experience. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at University of Maryland and completed a General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Barnes has received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, extractions, dentures, and Invisalign. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, yoga and going to the beach.

Dr. Jinju Kim

Dr. Jinju Kim grew up in Fayetteville, North Carolina and completed her undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then obtained her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree at the University of Kentucky. After graduation, Dr. Kim began practicing dentistry in Richmond, VA. She recently moved to the Hampton Roads area and is excited to join the team at Riverview Family Dentistry. Dr. Kim enjoys practicing all scopes of general dentistry and her passion in the dental field has been driven by a desire to make dental visits comfortable and stress free. During her free time, she enjoys spending time on the beach, traveling, and exploring new restaurants!
